Welcome to Children Of The Moon. This site hosts an online community for persons with XP and similar light sensitivity disorders. XP is shorthand for Xeroderma Pigmentosum. XP is the result of a genetic code that leaves people with XP acutely sensitive to all forms of Ultra Violet light, and in particular, sunlight. It has many far reaching associated health issues, and to date there is no cure.
